Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Candidates must be:

  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who migrated before 1st January 1962, or
  • A person of Indian origin from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, and East African countries.

Age Limit

  • Maximum age: 32 years as of 1st August 2025 (Born after 2nd August 1993)
  • For Medical Officers in Central Health Services: 35 years maximum
  • Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates should have passed the final MBBS examination (both written and practical exams).
  • Those appearing in the final MBBS exam can also apply but must provide proof of passing before the personality test.
  • Internship completion is required before the final appointment.
