Essential Qualifications for Assistant Professors:

Those holding a Ph.D. degree are exempt from NET/SLET/SET under certain conditions.OR - B.
Ph.D. degree obtained from a foreign university/institution ranked among the top 500 in the World University Ranking by QS, THE, or ARWU.Note: Academic scores shall be considered for shortlisting, and selections will be based on interview performance.
Essential Experience:
Minimum three years of Teaching/Industry experience in relevant fields such as Media Business, Strategic Communication, Print/Broadcast/Digital Media, etc.
Desirable Qualifications/Experience:
Specific qualifications and experience required based on the program/course for which the Assistant Professor is sought, including:
- Specialization in Media Management, Business Analytics, etc., for MA Media Business Studies.
- Specialization in Strategic Communication, Defence Studies, etc., for MA Strategic Communication.
- Work experience in reputed media organizations and proficiency in English/Hindi/Malayalam/Odia/Marathi for different journalism courses.
Duration of Engagement:
Initially for a period of One Year (02 Semesters), extendable up to a maximum of two years based on performance.
